Michelle Belanger

Michelle's career has always been rooted in a passion for serving educators and creating exceptional experiences behind the scenes. She began her journey in education in 1999 with the California Reading Association, where she managed conferences, coordinated speakers, and supported membership initiatives.

In 2005, Michelle co-founded Encompass Event Planners, a company dedicated to serving educational speakers and professional development events nationwide. Over the years, Encompass became a trusted partner to Seidlitz Education, helping manage the company's operations and contributing to its continued growth. What began as a professional partnership evolved into a lasting relationship spanning nearly two decades.

After working alongside the Seidlitz Education team for many years through Encompass Event Planners, Michelle officially joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in 2026. In her role, she oversees the company's financial and business operations. She enjoys being part of a team committed to serving educators and values the opportunity to help the organization operate efficiently behind the scenes.

Michelle lives in San Clemente, California, with her husband, Donald. Although they are now empty nesters, they love visiting their two children, who both live in the South. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys traveling, playing pickleball with friends, and spending time with family.
