Cristina Sizemore

Cristina Sizemore is a former Spanish and Italian World Language teacher who discovered early on the power of connection, culture, and communication in shaping student learning. Through her work with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, she developed a deep appreciation for the role language plays in building confidence, identity, and opportunity. Over her 15 years in the classroom, she was named Teacher of the Year in Aldine ISD, Huffman ISD, and New Caney ISD.
Cristina currently serves as the Multilingual Instructional Coach at Porter High School in New Caney ISD, where she partners with teachers across content areas to support language development in meaningful and practical ways. She believes that language is everyone’s responsibility and works alongside educators to create classrooms rich in opportunities for speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Her approach focuses on simple, high-impact strategies that empower teachers while honoring the linguistic assets students bring with them.
Known for her relatable and energetic presentation style, Cristina is passionate about helping educators bridge the gap between theory and practice with tools that can be implemented immediately. She is committed to equipping educators with practical, high-impact strategies that transform classrooms and elevate student voice because every learner deserves to be seen, heard, and successful.
